Dino Diggers (Ages 3 – 5 yrs.) $19

Have a “dinomite” time exploring the gigantic world of the dinosaurs. We’ll hold our very own dino dig and excavate a dinosaur toy encased in plaster. Then we’ll chip out the dino toy just like a paleontologist. Make your own dino skeleton to take home, do some dinosaur dancing, and act like a dinosaur when we play some fun games. Adult attendance is optional, but unregistered children cannot be accommodated.

Plants We Eat (Ages 3 – 5 yrs.) $19

Where do bananas come from? Did you ever see a pomegranate tree? Do we really make vanilla from orchid seeds? You’ll spend all morning learning about the plants people can eat. Sample a buffet of food that come from trees and plants you can see growing at Muttart, create a craft from seeds we eat, and plant a seedling to take home. Adult attendance is optional, but unregistered children cannot be accommodated.

Watercolour Painting with Willie Wong $75

Join local artist Willie Wong at the Muttart Conservatory. Explore the beauty and intricacy of orchids, wildflowers and sunflowers, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere as you learn to express your artistic side through watercolours. All skill levels are welcome, paint and paper is provided. Students are asked to bring their own brushes (#6, #8 and #10 round) or you can purchase them from Willie at the course.
