Volunteer Opportunities

Many of the friendly people you’ll meet during a visit to the Muttart Conservatory are volunteers. They play an important role in bringing the Conservatory to life. Consider sharing your time, experience and skills in this unique setting. Apply to become a member of our dedicated team of volunteers.

The Muttart Conservatory is excited to launch a new volunteer program this fall. An information session will be held at the Conservatory on Thursday, September 17th from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. To RSVP for this session, please contact the Volunteer Services Program Coordinator at 780-496-4935 or email rfsvolunteer@edmonton.ca

Below is a brief description of two of the volunteer positions that will be highlighted at the session:

School Programs Assistant

This volunteer position will assist the School Programmer with the delivery of school programs such as composting, planting and various games and activities reflecting changing curriculum. Volunteers are not responsible for independently leading programs.

Public Interpreter

This volunteer position will assist the Public Interpretation & Educational Programs staff with the delivery of accurate, interesting and appropriate information to patrons of the Muttart Conservatory as well as the delivery of small group tours.
