Celebrate your special day at the Muttart.  Imagine saying "I do" surrounded by African Violets, Lady's Slippers and Angel's Trumpets. The Muttart Conservatory is the picture-perfect setting for your picture-perfect day.

Wedding Ceremonies

  • First 15-30 minutes, depending on which ceremony option is taken, is exclusive use in the pyramid of choice; remaining time is shared access with our visitors to all four pyramids with your photographer. 
  • Rates include: Use of signing table, limited seating (two Victorian benches inside each pyramid), host or security guard.
  • Client responsible for marriage commissioner and photographer.
  • Rose petals, confetti, bird-seed, bubbles, balloons, etc. not permitted inside or outside the facility.

Evening Ceremonies

(available Sunday through Thursday only)

  • 90-minute session from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Exclusive use of all four pyramids
  • Attendance (including bridal party) is 25-50 people in the feature pyramid and is determined by the seasonal feature pyramid display; or 150 in the centre court
  • Rate $600 (includes GST) 

Saturday and Sunday Ceremonies

  • 45 and 90-minute sessions available between 10:30 a.m.– Noon  and 4 pm - 5:30 pm
  • First 15 minutes of 45 minute time session is exclusive use in one pyramid.
  • First 30 minutes of 90 minute time session is exclusive use in one pyramid.
  • Followed by more exclusive photographs in any or all pyramids.
  • Maximum Attendance (including bridal party) is 25-50 people and is determined by the seasonal feature pyramid display.
  • Rate $330 (includes GST) for 45 minutes, $555 (includes GST) for 90 minutes. 


Outdoor Gazebo Ceremonies

Exchange your wedding vows in a romantic outdoor gazebo surrounded by lush green grass and foliage in Edmonton's beautiful river valley. Depending on the weather, the Gazebo is available from 10:30 - 1 hour before sunset from mid-May to Labour Day.

  • Capacity within the gazebo is 25. Additional guests can stand on the grass surrounding the Gazebo. Maximum capacity is 50.
  • Rate $80 for a two hour photography session (includes GST); $280 for a two hour photography and ceremony (includes GST).

      We suggest you consider reserving an alternate location in the event of inclement weather..

Indoor Photography

Preserve your special moments. Have your momentous occasion photographed at the Muttart. Please note that all photography sessions must be booked well in advance.

  • 45 or 90-minute time slots (subject to availability).
  • Maximum group size 25 people.
  • Access to all four pyramids (non-exclusive)
  • Rates for non-exclusive daytime use are $194 for 45 minutes and $387 for 90 minutes.  After hour exclusive evening use (Sunday to Thursday) is $445 for 90 minutes.  Exclusive outdoor gazebo daytime rate is $80 for 2 hours.
  • Client responsible for photographer booking and costs.

For all rentals - An initial payment of 50% of the total estimated rental costs is due at the time of booking. The balance of the estimated rental fees is due payable upon receiving an invoice, which will be sent at the beginning of the month prior to your function.
